Near the entrance to the ice and snow festival there were some
ice horses
and
terracotta-warrior-ish statues
in front of this
big palace.
Upon closer inspection, you can see that the palace is also
made entirely of ice
.
Over to the right, there were a pair of
giant
buddhas
next to a
sphinx with slides on it
and a
futuristic
cityscape
Continuing on, we saw an
assortment
of
various
skyscrapers
to the left and, to thew right, a
church
and a
giant beer bottle.
Then we got to a
giant ice castle on a hill of snow
and
climbed up to look around. The view from the top was
amazing,
you could see how big the festival was:

to the right
from the stairs down
Notice how the buildings have
changed colors
from the previous picture. A lot of the buildings had their own little light shows going on all the time.
This
crystal
city area
was probably my favorite part. We didn't stay too long though, because by that time we were all pretty cold and miserable.
On the way out, we saw
another building
and
another buddha .
